SCOPE:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Courier to join our team at United Auto Insurance. As a Mail Courier, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering important documents, correspondence, and packages within the company and to external parties. This role ensures that all mail is delivered in a timely and secure manner, contributing to the overall efficiency and operations of the company.

SCOPE:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Courier to join our team at United Auto Insurance. As a Mail Courier, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering important documents, correspondence, and packages within the company and to external parties. This role ensures that all mail is delivered in a timely and secure manner, contributing to the overall efficiency and operations of the company.
DUTIES:
- Pick-up and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and documents for the company.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to designated locations, including clients, vendors, and internal departments.
- Organize and sort mail by department or recipient for easy distribution.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with company privacy and security protocols.
- Maintain a safe driving record if transportation is used for deliveries.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the office staff and other departments.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and external contacts.
- Knowledge of mailroom equipment and procedures, including postage meters, scanners, and shipping software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, and drive for extended periods.
