Position Summary
United Automobile Insurance Company is seeking a Mailroom Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for transporting, organizing, and delivering important documents, correspondence, and packages throughout the company. The Mailroom Clerk plays an essential role in ensuring secure, accurate, and timely distribution of mail in support of daily business operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and documents.

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery to internal departments and designated locations.

  • Organize and sort mail by department or recipient for efficient distribution.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with company policies.

  • Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and shipping software.

  • Assist staff and departments with related tasks as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–2 years of mailroom or clerical experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of mailroom procedures and equipment a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and carry up to 50 pounds.
